Well, my 3 year free trial of my web host, 1and1.com, has come to an end. Now I have to pay for it. That also means some changes have been made. The free intro package isn’t offered any more. But the packages they have now are more interesting anyway. What this means is that this domain name will be going away. It won’t be for another year though because I signed up for the new package after paying for another year of magicgnome.net. But…the new service comes with one domain name included. And I picked Stanaland.org. There are lots of reasons I chose this. The most obvious is that it’s our family name. And there have been lots of changes to that family. I wanted a place to show us off. A place for our extended families to be able to keep up with what’s going on. So go take a look. Right now it’s kinda sparse but it’ll fill out pretty quickly. With 7 people in the house there’s always something going on.
