Chilean Mapuches sue Microsoft for unwanted translation

Mapuche tribal leaders have accused the U.S. company of violating their cultural and collective heritage by translating the software into Mapuzugun without their permission.

How many people have asked and asked for Microsoft to translate software into their language? About 400,000 speakers and the tribe leaders don’t want native translations. Go figure.
